The Evangelism Committee plans and oversees the outreach program of the church, including recruitment of members, retention of members and reactivation of inactive members, through personal contact and other means.

Congregational Shepherding Program

Provides a communication network system within the church, whereby members are organized into Shepherding groups. These groups help address special occasions, health, family concerns, and transportation needs within the group.

Mentoring Program

Provides individual support lasting approximately three to six months for the acclimation of new members.

2009 Sponsored Sundays:

- Friendship Sunday:  First Sunday in May - Provides an opportunity to honor our friends and share our faith and church family with them.

- 50 year+ Membership Recognition Sunday: October 4, 2009 - Recognition of people within our congregation with 50+years of active membership.

- New Member Recognition Sunday: December - Recognition of members of our church family who have been received into membership during the current year.

2009 Newly Sponsored Programs:

- Spotlight On...: Monthly newsletter feature introducing us to a member of our church family.

- Many People Caring (MPC): Outreach project intended to provide an effective way of communicating both spiritual and personal needs not only within our congregation, but also our community through prayer, personal involvement and effective use of our time and talents.

Take I-83 to I-283 SOUTH (LANCASTER/AIRPORT).  Take the PA-283 EAST (LANCASTER).  Take the HUMMELSTOWN/MIDDLETOWN exit.  Turn RIGHT off ramp onto VINE STREET.  Follow into MIDDLETOWN.  Take RIGHT onto EAST MAIN STREET.  Take LEFT onto NORTH UNION STREET.  Arrive at NORTH UNION STREET and EAST WATER STREETS, MIDDLETOWN.  Arrive at NORTH UNION STREET and EAST WATER STREETS, MIDDLETOWN.

From Lancaster (East)

Take the PA-283 WEST (HARRISBURG).  Take the HUMMELSTOWN/MIDDLETOWN exit.  Turn LEFT off ramp onto VINE STREET. Into MIDDLETOWN.  Take RIGHT onto EAST MAIN STREET.  Take LEFT onto NORTH UNION STREET.  Arrive at NORTH UNION STREET and EAST WATER STREETS, MIDDLETOWN.  Arrive at NORTH UNION STREET and EAST WATER STREETS, MIDDLETOWN.

From the West Shore (West)

Take PA-581 EAST to I-83 NORTH (HARRISBURG).  Take the I-283 SOUTH (LANCASTER/AIRPORT).  Take the PA-283 EAST (LANCASTER).  Take the HUMMELSTOWN/MIDDLETOWN exit.  Turn RIGHT off ramp onto VINE STREET.  Follow into MIDDLETOWN.  Take RIGHT onto EAST MAIN STREET.  Take LEFT onto NORTH UNION STREET.  Arrive at NORTH UNION STREET and EAST WATER STREETS, MIDDLETOWN.

From York (South)
